Sunday 3 July

We’re rocking out on the final day of Southside Live with a cranked-up selection of new garage acts to Australian cult rock heroes. Get ready for a day of guitars, drums and big sounds, with enough power to blow storm clouds away.

THE BLACK SORROWS are one of Australia’s most prolific and enduringly popular bands renowned for their high-energy live shows, musicianship, and infectious, roots-soaked blues rock. They’ve sold more than two million albums to date and won an ARIA Award for Best Group.

Modern Australian rock icon ADALITA is best known as front woman for the multi-ARIA Award nominated Aussie rock band Magic Dirt. She has since forged a successful solo career and blitzed the music scene, landing awards such as the Best Independent Release at the 2011 AIR Awards.

PINCH POINTS, alternative post-punk legends, are performing off the back of their acclaimed new album ‘Process’ and taking that that raucous energy to the stage. Their latest release is a momentous leap forward with 10 songs engaging with the fractures in so-called ‘Australia’.

TAMARA & THE DREAMS is inspired by the likes of Mitski and Courtney Barnett, and delves into candid and quirky observations on youth, identity, and the self, filtered through fun, fuzzy guitar songs that can be both abrasive and whimsical.
