No! Throughout the 10 days of the event, there will be no road closures or hindrances to access for local residents wishing to drive in the area.
Southside Live will be taking place on St Kilda's picturesque foreshore at South Beach Reserve. Scroll down to the bottom of the page to see a map for some more detail
There are a number of ways to get to the event.
We recommend leaving the car at home and catching public transport. However, if you do need to drive please be aware that standard parking enforcement will be in place in the area. There is some street parking nearby, as well as paid off-street parking accessible from Shakespeare Grove or the triangle car park next to the Palais. Undercover and above-ground parking is also available next door to the event at the St Kilda Sea Baths, 10-18 Jacka Boulevard, St Kilda.
- Tram Routes 16, 96, and 3a (weekends only): depart at stop 136 (Alfred Crescent/The Esplanade)
- Tram Route 12: Stop 143, and then walk south along Jacka Blvd for 10 minutes
- Bus Route 606: depart at Alfred Sqr/The Esplanade
The closest disability access parking is at Triangle Carpark, Lower Esplanade or on Cavell Street. There are also a number of access parking spaces on Jacka Boulevard under the pedestrian bridge.
The site will be equipped with 1 x accessible toilet. There is also a full accessible service toilet at St Kilda Life Saving Club.

Each day of Southside Live is open for all ages and all audiences to attend. During the daytime Monday 27 June to Friday 1 July there will be performances and activities that will appeal to younger audiences and their guardians alike!
